The Daiwa BG1500 is an outstanding saltwater based spinning reel from the reputed name of Daiwa. This next-generation BG spinning reel is much leaner and more effective than previous installments. It is ideal for ultralight freshwater as well as saltwater fishing purposes.

There is black, anodized machined aluminum housing in this reel. It is a “Hard Bodyz” body & a side cover. Daiwa BG1500 body cover is incredible in providing strength and stability to all its internal parts. This spinning reel is also corrosion and scratch resistant which increases its strength further.

This spinning reel goes through the “Black Anodization” process and also provides better adhesion to aluminum. It will not chip or peel off its surface even after long-term use. Hence, it retains the beautiful look of the BG spinning series. It also has a large-sized Digigear system, the most extensive drive gear amongst all other spinning reels from Daiwa. This feature also increases gear-tooth contact points.
